Cherrium Software Privacy Policy
Cherrium Software Privacy Policy
Overview
This Software Privacy Policy explains how Cherrium LLC collects, processes, stores, shares, and protects information when you use Cherrium software, applications, websites for Cherrium software, and related software services.
This policy applies to Peek, Flow, Harbor, CinePlan, Zoruh Stickers, Zoruh Stickers Animated, and related software services provided by Cherrium LLC.
Cherrium’s online store, website purchases, storefront cookies, and Shopify commerce activity are covered separately by the Cherrium Store Privacy Policy.

1) Information We Process
User Content
Depending on the product and features you use, Cherrium software may process content that you submit, create, select, upload, capture, or generate. This may include:
- Prompts, questions, and chat messages.
- AI-generated responses, summaries, plans, schedules, and call sheets.
- Automatically saved chats and chat titles.
- Relevant saved-chat excerpts or compact summaries used as memory.
- Quiz questions, answers, selections, and results.
- Code, links, plans, stories, and other generated material.
- Files, images, scripts, PDFs, documents, or media you explicitly select for supported features.
- PDFs, CSV files, reports, schedules, or other documents you choose to export.
Account and Authentication Information
Some Cherrium software and services may require an account. For CinePlan, we collect account information such as name, email address, authentication method, password hash if you use email/password login, OAuth account identifiers if you sign in with a supported provider, session metadata, passkey or authenticator metadata, and account security settings.
Passwords are stored as password hashes. We do not store plaintext passwords. OAuth tokens, email addresses, display names, contact details, and other supported personally identifiable information are encrypted at rest where supported by the service architecture.
Legal Acceptance Records
CinePlan stores records showing whether you accepted the current Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and AI disclaimer. These records may include acceptance timestamps, document versions, document URLs, hashed IP address, and user agent. These records help Cherrium operate the service, document consent, maintain account audit history, and prevent disputes.
CinePlan Production and Project Data
When you use CinePlan, Cherrium may process production and project data that you enter into the service, including production titles, shooting day schedules, activity types, locations, location coordinates, equipment, budget items, shot lists, task boards, storyboard images, uploaded files, production notes, catalog items, team membership, shared production data, and related planning information.
You may add production contacts such as crew members, vendors, or talent. Contact data may include names, roles, email addresses, phone numbers, companies, and production-related notes. You are responsible for having appropriate permission, consent, or legitimate interest to store another person’s contact information in CinePlan.
CinePlan Weather Information
If you use CinePlan weather features, CinePlan may send relevant location coordinates and requested forecast dates to Apple WeatherKit to retrieve weather forecast data. CinePlan does not send production titles, schedule notes, contacts, uploaded files, or scripts to Apple WeatherKit for weather forecasts. Forecast results may be cached server-side for a limited time to reduce repeated requests.
CinePlan Payment and Subscription Information
Stripe processes CinePlan payment and subscription activity. Cherrium does not receive, see, or store complete credit-card numbers for CinePlan subscriptions. Cherrium may store Stripe customer identifiers, subscription identifiers, price identifiers, plan status, billing period dates, cancellation status, and seat-limit information needed to manage access and billing.
CinePlan Analytics, Events, and Technical Information
CinePlan may collect page views, product events, recent user errors, server logs, request timestamps, IP-derived security metadata, browser type, device information, and similar technical data for security, debugging, product improvement, abuse prevention, and operational reliability.
CinePlan uses a cookie-less analytics approach. Visitor identity for analytics may be derived from a rotating hash of IP address, user agent, and date. Cherrium does not use third-party advertising analytics inside CinePlan.
Vision Information
When you explicitly start Peek Vision, the app may process:
- Screenshots captured during the Vision session.
- Visible text detected from those screenshots.
- Foreground application and window information.
- Timing information used to understand activity across the session.
- The AI-generated Vision analysis.
Vision does not capture system audio. Vision screenshots are held in memory for the active analysis and are not intentionally saved to disk as saved-chat images. Captured frames are cleared from the app after they are selected and prepared for analysis.
The resulting text analysis may be saved as part of your Peek chat.
Voice Information
When you explicitly start voice input, Peek processes microphone audio to create a speech transcript. Depending on your device, language, and system configuration, speech-recognition processing may occur on your device or through Apple’s speech-recognition services.
Cherrium does not intentionally save raw microphone recordings. The resulting transcript appears in the Ask field and may become part of a saved chat if you submit it.
If optional voice auto-send is enabled, recognized text may be submitted after Peek detects that you have stopped speaking.
Device and Technical Information
Cherrium software may process limited technical information necessary to operate and secure the service, including:
- A randomly generated identifier associated with an app installation.
- App version and build number.
- Operating-system version.
- Locale and time-zone information.
- Model availability and request status.
- Error messages and basic diagnostic information.
- Permission status for supported system features.
- Request timestamps, network information, and security metadata.
Internet infrastructure providers may automatically receive information such as your IP address and basic request metadata when Cherrium software connects to hosted services.
Settings and Usage Information
Cherrium software may store settings and usage information such as:
- Daily request usage.
- Free, Pro, Team, Enterprise, or app-specific subscription status.
- Enabled settings and feature preferences.
- Configured keyboard shortcuts.
- Notification preferences.
- Legal-policy acceptance status and date.
- The last selected chat, project, production, or other interface state.
Some settings and usage counters are stored locally on your device. Others may be stored server-side when needed to operate a web service such as CinePlan.
App Store Subscription Information
Apple processes purchases and subscription payments made through the App Store. Cherrium does not receive complete payment-card details for App Store purchases. Cherrium may receive limited purchase and entitlement information from Apple, such as the product purchased and whether paid access is currently available.
Support Information
If you create a support file, contact Cherrium, or send diagnostic information, Cherrium may process the information you choose to provide. A support report may include app version, build, operating-system, locale, time-zone, plan status, usage status, enabled settings, permission status, model status, sanitized error information, and performance information.
Support reports are not sent automatically unless the product says otherwise. You choose whether to save or share them.
2) Local Storage
Some Cherrium software stores information locally on your device. Peek stores saved chats in the user’s Application Support folder on the Mac. Flow and Harbor may store local preferences and permission bookmarks. Zoruh sticker apps may rely on Apple and the operating system for installation and messaging behavior.
Settings, feature preferences, request counters, installation identifiers, legal acceptance status, and similar app state may be stored locally using operating-system preferences or app storage.
Local information may remain on your device until you delete it, reset the app, remove its supporting data, or uninstall the software.
3) How We Use Information
We process information to:
- Provide requested software features.
- Create, save, retrieve, search, organize, and export user content.
- Operate CinePlan production planning, scheduling, collaboration, AI, weather, file, budget, catalog, task, storyboard, and team features.
- Generate AI responses, script breakdowns, schedules, call sheets, summaries, and Vision analysis.
- Convert speech into text.
- Provide automatic saved-chat memory.
- Create and score interactive quizzes.
- Generate PDF, CSV, calendar, report, and other user-requested exports.
- Verify purchases and provide subscription benefits.
- Apply request limits and prevent service abuse.
- Authenticate app installations and user accounts with hosted services.
- Send transactional emails such as password resets, verification emails, team invitations, and product notifications.
- Diagnose failures and provide customer support.
- Maintain security, reliability, and compatibility.
- Comply with applicable law and enforce our Terms of Use.
4) AI Processing
Some Cherrium products include AI-powered features. AI features may send prompts, user-selected content, relevant context, and instructions through Cherrium-operated services to an AI service provider.
For Peek, the information sent may include:
- Your current prompt.
- Recent messages from the current conversation.
- A compact summary of a long conversation.
- Relevant saved-chat excerpts when automatic memory is used.
- Vision screenshots and related visible-screen context.
- Instructions needed to produce the requested output.
For CinePlan, AI features may send information needed to produce the requested result, including:
- Production schedules and shooting-day rows.
- Locations, activity types, equipment, and notes.
- Production contacts such as names, roles, emails, phone numbers, and companies when relevant to the AI feature.
- Scripts, story details, or uploaded content you choose to provide for script breakdown or planning features.
- Instructions needed to generate schedules, call sheets, summaries, or planning suggestions.
Cherrium uses hosted AI service providers for AI processing in CinePlan and other Cherrium AI features. Providers may change when reasonably necessary to maintain reliability, compatibility, security, model availability, or product functionality.
Cherrium does not use your User Content to train an AI model owned by Cherrium. Cherrium intends to use provider data controls under which API inputs and outputs are not used to train public provider models. Third-party providers process information according to their applicable agreements, security practices, and retention controls.
The specific supported AI model used by Cherrium software may change over time so the service can continue using a current, available, compatible model. AI output can be incomplete or inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated schedules, call sheets, production guidance, and other outputs before relying on them.
You can choose not to use AI features. Core CinePlan scheduling, catalog, file, team, and collaboration features can be used without initiating AI actions.
5) Saved-Chat Memory
Peek may automatically search locally saved chats when your prompt appears to refer to earlier work or conversations. Relevant excerpts or compact summaries may then be included with the AI request.
Free and Peek Pro may use different memory-depth limits. Saved-chat memory may select incomplete or unrelated context and is not guaranteed to recall every saved detail.
You can delete saved chats to prevent those chats from being used for future saved-chat memory requests.
6) Smart Cleanup and Chat Deletion
If Smart Cleanup is enabled, Peek may automatically remove older or less recently used saved chats when the saved-chat collection exceeds the supported limit.
Pinned chats are protected from Smart Cleanup. However, pinning is not a substitute for maintaining an independent backup.
Deleted chats may not be recoverable. Clearing a conversation from the interface does not necessarily remove other saved chats.
7) Voice and Speech Recognition
Voice input requires microphone and speech-recognition permission. Peek accesses the microphone only while voice input is starting or active.
Apple may process audio or recognition information when its speech recognition service is used. Apple’s processing is governed by Apple’s applicable privacy terms and device settings.
You may stop voice input at any time, revoke microphone or speech recognition permission in System Settings, or disable the voice shortcut.
8) Vision and Screen Capture
Vision requires macOS Screen Recording permission. Peek captures screen information only while a Vision session that you started is active.
You should close or hide passwords, financial information, private messages, health information, confidential business material, and other sensitive content before starting Vision.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have permission to capture and process any content visible during the session.
You may stop Vision at any time or revoke Screen Recording permission in System Settings.
9) Clipboard, Links, and Exports
Quick Copy places selected content on the macOS clipboard. If auto-clear clipboard is enabled, Peek may clear unchanged content previously copied through Peek after the applicable behavior is triggered.
Peek does not control content after another application reads it.
Links generated by AI responses may lead to third-party websites. Cherrium does not control the privacy or security practices of those websites.
PDFs, CSVs, reports, schedules, call sheets, exported documents, and other exported files are saved only when you request an export and select a location or download. Once exported, you are responsible for storing, sharing, and deleting those files.
10) Notifications and Shortcuts
Cherrium software may request notification permission to alert you when supported work is complete. Notification delivery may be managed by the operating system or a service provider.
Global keyboard shortcuts are registered with macOS when enabled. Configured shortcut values are stored locally and are not intentionally included in generated support reports.
11) How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Information may be shared with:
- AI service providers to generate text, planning, schedule, call-sheet, and Vision responses.

13) Data Retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including providing the service, maintaining security, resolving disputes, and complying with legal obligations.
- Saved chats remain locally until deleted, removed by Smart Cleanup, reset, or uninstalled.
- Vision screenshots are held in memory and are not intentionally persisted as saved-chat images.

- Security, relay, server, and diagnostic records may be retained as reasonably necessary.
- Third-party providers may retain information under their own terms and retention controls.
- Support correspondence may be retained while needed to resolve a request.
14) Security
Cherrium uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information. These may include app sandboxing, private local file permissions, encrypted network connections, short-lived relay authorization, request-size limits, input validation, access controls, security headers, rate limiting, and encrypted storage for supported personally identifiable information.
CinePlan encrypts supported personally identifiable information at rest with AES-256-GCM, including account email addresses, display names, contact emails and phone numbers, OAuth tokens, two-factor authentication secrets, and IP addresses in audit logs where applicable. Passwords are hashed. Security tokens are stored as hashes. Email lookups may use a keyed blind index.
No storage or transmission method is completely secure. We cannot guarantee that information will never be accessed, disclosed, altered, or lost.
15) Your Choices and Controls

You may also have the right to object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent, opt out of certain sharing or sales where applicable, or receive a portable copy of information, subject to applicable law and technical availability.
Much of Peek’s data is stored only on your device. Cherrium may not possess or be able to identify locally stored chats or settings. Local data can be managed directly through the app, Finder, macOS settings, or uninstallation.
CinePlan includes self-service access, correction, export, and deletion tools in account settings. To submit a privacy request that is not available through self-service tools, contact Cherrium using the contact information published at the end of this policy.
17) Legal Bases for Processing
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, Cherrium processes information:
- To provide software and services you request, including account, project, production, scheduling, billing, weather, collaboration, and AI features.
- With your consent, including when you grant system permissions or opt into optional features.

20) Other Cherrium Products
Flow
Flow processes wallpaper media, file locations, and related settings that you select. Selected media is intended to remain locally on your device. Flow may store preferences and permission bookmarks locally so it can access user-selected files after relaunching. Cherrium does not intentionally receive your wallpaper files unless you provide them for support.
